In need of help please.

I have a photon S. I have no issue at all printing the RERF file pre sliced by anycubic, which leads me to believe that the level and tension of the FEP are good.

When I slice a file (using the anycubic software in default) the file doesn’t stick at all to the plate. I do not know what to do, I think it must be setting that is causing the fault.

On an interesting side note, I was looking at the settings of the RERF file and it payed the first layer, then I printed my file and it printed well ..

So I am confused

Any tips on learning how many supports to add? I'm using Chitubox and I feel like the auto support adds way more than I need.

Well Im only a little nuts...but I can see insane from here. Yes Im breaking this down for print also. I started this model back in 1990 its still not finished and to print it I will have to rob it of some detail that is smaller then the resolution of the printer. PS there are now so many models of this on line its not funny...I could get a simpler one but.....I like mine!

Pros: caught a failure at only the third layer Con: still have to drain the vat and clean the FEP.
So I saved a project (that I've already successfully printed) with supports I added as an STL in chit, then reopened it in chit with the now permanent supports to flip the X axis to have some variety. Well for some reason it didn't print flat on the plate, didn't start printing until layer 3, any guesses as to what happened?
