我拉過了～沒事～我保養滑軌都是舊油擦掉上新油再手去多次移動把髒物洗出來擦掉再上新油～我都這樣做～這三軸都拉很多次板子也沒事～怕是滑軌沒保養好～軌道變寬也看不出來～久了滑軌三支都寬那才花更多

公司機器我都是24小時狂操，除了六日沒上班沒用外，下班都是丟印比較久的東西給他跑到隔天上班，所以保養沒做好，機器會壞很快..XD

因我沒事亂拉，讓大家擔心我的ATOM安危，以後我會好好照顧及保養它，謝謝大家。（≧∇≦）

說會壞的是表達一種可能性，說拉過沒壞的是表達一種結果，但這兩件事其實不衝突!!，建議還是不要快速地拉他

馬達沒通電，外力轉動他就等於發電機，所以拉動時等於你在對機板供電！
機板如果有做保護機制就還好，玩不壞！
沒有的話要小心，慢慢移動就不會有過大的電力回衝。

對，邊印邊接，小心拉到造成短暫進料不順。

中止列印是不一定報廢啦，但要看你怎麼接下去印。這個要遇到才能判斷，最好別遇到。

可以在印infill的時候將速度調到10%，再快速換料接上

如果可以等到做填充，就可以暫停一下，馬上換料了

還有我開了15mm brim邊緣還是開始翹起，口紅膠也塗滿厚的，是我infill太多嗎？我調到12.5%

Its 12V. To test side fan . set to 255. Too low value as a start cant spinup

Thanks Clarence - I tried 255 but still no fan rotation. I did check my solder connections on the fan itself and there is not a short there, so tomorrow I guess I'll check the motherboard connector.

I also found out that the holes in my side-blowing fans make it impossible to complete the assembly of the nozzle blocker unless the fans are mounted with their blades facing inwards, towards the hot end. This explains why I originally mounted the fans this way; I had thought it was just a mistake, but if I turn the fans so the holes line up then they blow sideways instead of downward.

Strange, anyway you could ask ALT design how to get a pair of the fan. This form factor in 12V is not usual, not easy to get them. Usually it's 5V version. (The thickness might be the key point, prevent to touch the effector)

Birk Binnard Did you still have the model label on fan?
This one looks like 5V version. And ALT design should provide the free replacement since first batch 12V got problem to be magnetic rod Interference.
But if yours really 5V at first. It must be so mething wrong, ask them anyway.

It should be AB3512MX & should be metal cover, not plastic cover.

So, your side fan might be never works. It's burned out at first 12V input ;p

Clarence - there are no markings on the outside of my fans other than the small arrow showing the airflow direction. However, on the inside, on the tiny circuitboard under the fan blades, are these markings:

The cover on my fans is plastic. And my fans do not look like the one in your photo - my fans have nothing printed on the fan hub and the covers snap on; they are not attached with tiny phillips head screws.

So does this mean I have 5V fans and was feeding them with12V? That would certainly cause a problem over time.

It must be something wrong on the fan you got.

Thanks Peter for sending me replacement fans. I appreciate the great customer support. In the meantime I'm going to reassemble the printer and print without the fans running - apparently I've been doing this for a while with no bad effects, probably because the parts I print have no bridging.
