That was my thought as well, this one was exposed at 80s bottom and 8s normal, and seemed horrible underexposed. I guess I’ll split the difference

100% I don’t know who dude was that put 18 seconds on “the sheet” but 7-8 seconds is plenty

Thats the whole purpose of a calibration test, find the sweet spot!

I’m currently running 8 bottom layers at 60s, normal exposure 9s at 0.05 layer height. Getting great results.

i found the non trans resins need to be 12-16 seconds usually.

You are way overexposured at 12secs

I would try 8/9 seconds exposure I think 12 is too much as well. I've posted my chitu settings and anycubic photon setting if you search the posts. They should give you a reasonable guide.

Increase either bottom exposure or count (what are your current settings?).
Possibly increase the amount of bed contact by spreading things out / extra supports.

Chris Robinson hollowing is easy. Supporting all the new islands that can be created internally - that's a bit more fun.

No islands. Just thicken up the shell until they vanish.

found crates and barrels needed to be 0.02 thick to be worth hollowing. also make a large drain hole. i mean a large one or you will be draining forever and making a big mess

Nathan Kopp mine are 1mm walls, strong enough for terrain but not for stuff that gets handled a lot

depends on the size for me. its 2 to 3mm. i need my stuff to be able to take a fall or so.

Titanforge is the one you're thinking of. Though be aware that over 100 of the models included are scenic bases for minis.

They're nice bases and even just the minis are worth the price, but its a slightly misleading ad to those people expecting 180 posed figures.

If you get in this month, its a TON of stuff. They released a few D&D minis, plus some Amazons in addition to the normal monthly Cyberpunk and Dragon Empire release. Well worth the 10 bucks I'd say.

Ordered my Wash & Cure in the Aliexpress sale on Friday, shipping from UK warehouse. So hopefully it will come just as fast as my Photon S did when i did same. Much cheaper than amazon and places.

Josh Ritter I've used it once yesterday, and in 4 minutes I've got 8 minis cleaned and in another 4 minutes cured. That's faster than my process was before, and more importantly - much, much simpler and cleaner.

I got you beat, my last print had evenly spaced half-tubes along the vertical face. Really bizarre. But i might have an idea what caused it. I accidentally deleted my photon from chitubox. I reloaded the default photon settings, but i believe i set it up wrong to a DLP mirror printer instead of a LCD mirror one.

And I need to update my firmware from 4.2.12 to 4.2.18 so I can take advantage of anti-aliasing.

Ryan Smith nope. Its s vertical surface and i neglected to mention the half tube shapes were parallel to the build plate not vertical. And no supports were used. The STL was from thingiverse to make the easy leveling jig.
